Very clean, Citrus Fruit, Complex, Creamy, Prune, Caramel, Chocolate and Honey Notes.

This delicious coffee, grown by Milton Canales Sevilla on his farm Las Termópilas in Esteli, Nicaragua, was one of the top 30 winning lots in this years (2022) Nicaragua Cup of Excellence, placing 11th with a score of 87.76.

Las Termópilas has 19 acres of coffee grown under the shade of diverse native trees that also provide refuge for wildlife. Utilizing many organic farming practices, Milton uses earth worm castings, as well as compost derived from cattle manure, coffee pulp and parchment to amend the soil, ensuring good production and excellent quality coffee fruit. Milton gained his experience cultivating coffee with his father, Daniel Canales, who organized El Eden group, a collective of family farms including the celebrated Finca Los Delirios, which has frequently produced coffee selected as one of the best in the Nicaragua Cup of Excellence competition.
